This project redefines the sales office typology by integrating sales, club, and future residential functions into a seamless composite space. Anchored in the theme "Pearl on the Sea," it merges regional culture, multidimensional light design, modular circulation planning, and sustainable functional transformation. Customized art installations, material light synergy, and vertical spatial structures create a distinctive, immersive, and future oriented lifestyle experience.

The project employs a methodology of "element extraction add scenario based expression," transforming cultural motifs into architectural language. Materials such as stone, metal, glass, satin, and leather are combined to enhance transparency and light refraction. Integrated lighting systems, megastructure pendant fabrication, and modular space planning ensure seamless future functional conversion.
The main challenge was balancing transparency with privacy while integrating sales and club functions. Direct use of cultural symbols risked rigidity, while excessive abstraction weakened identity. Technical constraints included Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing reservation, circulation separation, and material light coordination. The solution combined element extraction, layered zoning, adaptive space design, and controlled lighting to reconcile function, culture, and spatial aesthetics.
The project started in January 2025 and finished in September 2025 in China.
The space operates through layered circulation: visitors follow independent routes for first visits, negotiations, fitness, or private banquets without interference. Light, materials, and spatial transitions guide users intuitively, creating a fluid experience. After the sales phase, spaces transform seamlessly into club functions by adjusting soft furnishings, providing long term lifestyle services.
This design is based on contextual research into Nansha's cultural history, urban positioning, and user behavior. Methods included site analysis, cultural studies, spatial simulation, and functional prototyping. Data from user interviews and circulation tests informed the planning. Results show enhanced operational efficiency, cultural resonance, and sustainable adaptability, influencing long term community value and regional urban development.
The design draws inspiration from Nansha's dual identity as a historic gateway of the Maritime Silk Road and the geometric center of the Greater Bay Area. Cultural symbols such as lighthouses, fishing nets, tides, and flowing light informed the spatial language. Research into regional history, local ecology, and modern urban life led to the conceptual theme "Pearl on the Sea," bridging tradition and contemporary innovation.
