Each panel is designed for an environmentally friendly service life of up to 10 years. System wide deployment helps reduce energy consumption in smart buildings by more than 45 percent. Unique Properties

The Beethoven Series redefines smart panel aesthetics, drawing inspiration from the musical staff of classical music. Physical buttons echo leaping notes, gracefully linked by fluid lines to create a sense of rhythmic vitality. Paired with refined materials and human centered functionality, every interaction becomes an emotional experience. More than just a control panel, it serves as a bridge connecting personal emotion, living scenarios, and spatial aesthetics.

Production Technology

Each variant is crafted to match its role. The ZigBee edition pairs PC with a metallic painted finish for durability and a refined look. The KNX and knob equipped models offer two premium finishes: red copper with a brass substrate and deep iron black on aluminum alloy. The red copper surface is antiqued, enhanced with multiple coatings and protective treatments for a vintage patina without tarnishing. Laser etched markings glow softly and support customization for both utility and artistry.

Design Challenge

This series is the first to bring classical music aesthetics into smart home hardware, and introduces the first Smart Ambient Panel in the industry, offering three dynamic lighting effects and eight colors with support for custom scenes. Interaction becomes more intuitive and comfortable thanks to its knob, physical buttons, and proximity sensing that avoids harsh glare. Communication, sensing, and control are highly integrated in a modular architecture to enhance functionality and scalability.

Project Duration

This product was designed and developed in Xiamen, China in June 2025, and launched in the Chinese market in December 2025.

Operation Flow

The series provides diverse dynamic lighting effects and colors, evoking technological sophistication and emotional warmth. It also supports one tap scene activation, remote app control, and seamless integration with smart locks to trigger Away mode. The hybrid interface pairs a knob for precise tuning with physical buttons for instant function access. Proximity sensing creates an intuitive experience: the panel glows softly on approach and dims gently when you leave, without nighttime glare.

Research

As aesthetic expectations for living spaces continue to rise, traditional switch panels can no longer meet the demands of personalization, artistry, and visual harmony in modern high end residences. Homeowners now expect smart devices not only to function well, but also to enhance interior aesthetics. In response, the Beethoven Series draws inspiration from the musical staff, fusing art, refined materials, and intelligence into an elegant wall mounted control panel and redefining what it can be.

Inspiration

Inspired by the musical world, the design pays homage to Beethoven and his spirit of creating timeless masterpieces against all odds. It fuses graceful artistry with intelligent technology, drawing on the flowing curves of the musical staff and integrating a circular touch screen. By consolidating multiple functions into a single sleek unit, it achieves greater simplicity. With five classic color options and a soft matte finish, this series complements a wide range of interior styles.

Project Overview

Beethoven Series Panel has been a Bronze winner in the Smart Living and Home Automation Design award category in the year 2025 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition. The Bronze A' Design Award is given to outstanding designs that showcase a high degree of creativity and practicality. It recognizes the dedication and skill of designers who produce work that stands out for its thoughtful development and innovative use of materials and technology. These designs are acknowledged for their professional execution and potential to influence industry standards positively.
