Unique Properties
Designed for frequent business travelers, this luggage prioritizes efficiency and durability. Reinforced ribs and high strength nylon corner protectors effectively absorb impacts during handling while the modular, replaceable wheel assembly allows independent replacement to avoid discarding the entire suitcase, extending service life. The front flap quick access compartment and dual zipper main compartment meet various storage needs, providing a convenient and reliable travel experience.

Production Technology
The luggage body is made from Covestro PC material, incorporating 30 percent recycled PC for sustainability without compromising structural strength. A coarse matte finish improves scratch and abrasion resistance. The corner protectors are made of high toughness PA6 nylon, offering excellent impact and wear resistance. Recycled 40D monofilament nylon lining provides tear resistance, water repellency, and ecofriendliness, ensuring durability and sustainability throughout the entire product.
Design Challenge
Balancing structural strength with a clean, minimalist aesthetic was a challenge. Guided by functional aesthetics, reinforcement ribs are presented as front vertical accents, enhancing impact resistance while establishing an orderly look. The corner protectors serve as visual markers, showing strength and reliability. Rounded edges provide both a friendly look and effective impact protection, while the matte finish reinforces a rational, premium, and durable impression.
Project Duration
The project was initiated in July 2025 in Shanghai, with design and production completed in December 2025. It was exhibited on December 31, 2025 at Tank Shanghai.
Operation Flow
The modular wheels allow independent replacement, extending product lifespan. FlowRoll 60 mm steel ball bearing offroad wheels deliver smooth load bearing performance, strong traction, and stable movement across various terrains. Front flap compartment opens upward at 90 degrees, allowing stable opening and closing while the luggage remains upright for quick retrieval of essentials. A recessed TSA008 lock is integrated into the shell to prevent damage to the lock cylinder during handling.
Research
As business travel becomes increasingly frequent, luggage has become a key travel companion. Users demand efficient access, stable mobility, and long term durability. Conventional suitcases are often discarded due to localized wheel or corner damage, affecting travel experience. This product addresses these issues through modular replaceable wheels, protective designs, and quick access compartments, fully meeting the expectations of modern users for efficiency and durability.
Inspiration
Inspired by the protective logic of automotive bumpers, the product incorporates nylon protectors at all four corners. These components act as impact buffers, improving durability while establishing a strong and recognizable visual identity. The flow concept of the brand runs throughout the product, integrating smooth mobility, efficient access, and convenient storage to unify protective performance with a seamless travel experience.
Project Overview
Bumper Front Open Luggage has been a Silver winner in the Fashion and Travel Accessories Design award category in the year 2025 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition. The Silver A' Design Award celebrates top-tier designs that embody excellence and innovation. This award acknowledges creations that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also highly functional, reflecting the designer's deep understanding and skill.
