Unique Properties
The UT5 brings a full supercar aesthetic into an electric scooter for the first time. It is not a superficial transplant of styling cues, but a holistic reimagination—from the aerodynamic profile and wide-arched stance to racing graphics—turning the fantasy of "road-hugging flight" into a tangible riding. The front integrates a steel-reinforced tube that doubles as a carry handle when folded, paired with a steel cable lock for secure parking, unifying theft prevention and structural aesthetics.

Production Technology
Built on a full-metal frame for rigidity and long-term resilience, the UT5's body is finished through a multi-layer painting technique that contrasts matte gunmetal gray with bright metallic silver. At the front, the structural components double as a carry handle, blending functional engineering with visual coherence. The folding mechanism is also ergonomically refined, allowing the scooter to be stowed and carried with ease.
Design Challenge
The challenge lay in how to pack supercar-like presence and performance in a compact footprint. Inspired by supercar aesthetics, we developed a forward-leaning profile, racing graphics, and an extended deck to emphasize muscularity and motion. The flared footrests and lowered battery bay deliver a low-center-of-gravity, wide-wheelbase layout. The pioneering handlebar design merges decorative appeal with structural function, overcoming spatial constraints and enabling secure locking.
Project Duration
The project will finish in March 2026 in Suzhou.
Operation Flow
A high-definition display keeps essential ride information clearly visible. The intelligent lighting system auto-adjusts brightness based on the environment, enhanced by turn signals and brake light cues. Swappable external batteries extend range on demand. A dual-suspension setup smooths out bumps and irregularities. The optimized folding mechanism enables fast storage—reinforced steel tubing in the folded position allows easy hand-carrying, paired with a steel cable lock for secure parking.
Research
The UT5 seeks to translate the sensory value of supercars into the everyday experience of personal urban mobility. Its design carries forward supercar aesthetics, striking an engineering balance between flowing contours and structural integrity, while enhancing stability with a low-center-of-gravity stance. This shapes an urban mobility space that combines high performance, environmental responsibility, and emotional resonance.
Inspiration
Inspired by the aerodynamic speed-sculpted artistry and visual dynamism of supercars, the UT5 features a forward-leaning silhouette shaped with ergonomic intent, blending striking looks with refined control. It aims to translate this thrilling sensory experience from the race track into city streets, transforming urban commuting from a mundane routine into a spirited journey alive with energy and discovery.
