Drink Beauty is like a beautiful jewel that you can drink ! We made a combination of two objects that were used separately with tea : Rock candies and lemon slices . This design is completely eatable . By adding lemon slices to rock candy's structure, its taste becomes incredibly better and its food value increases because of lemon's vitamins .The designers simply replaced the sticks that rock candy crystals were held to with a slice of dried lemon . Drink Beauty is a complete example of modern world which brings beauty and efficiency all together.

Unique Properties
This design is a combination of lemon and rock candy that are usually used separately with tea . We wanted to give a more attractive look to these food and also bring them both in one package . Rock candy is a beautiful crystal rock made of sugar and water which is usually held to a little stick . Dried lemons and fresh lemons are both used with tea . We simply replaced the stick that rock candy is held to with a slice of dried frozen lemon.This design is like a beautiful jewel that u can drink.

Production Technology
Rock candies are made in a simple way . Factories have big containers of water that is satiated with sugar , the little wooden sticks are placed in them and in a certain amount of time the crystals start to appear on the stick . The innovative part of our design is that we replaced the stick which you can't obviously eat with slices of dried lemon that is eatable , has a better taste , more beautiful and contains lots vitamins .
Design Challenge
We did a major research on a lot of factories that produce rock candies to know the problems and flaws .We looked for a different angle so that we could produce a new product that does not have those flaws . We combined rock candies with lemon and create a whole new product .
Project Duration
This project has been incoporated as an industrial design project in Iran on Monday, May 6, 2013 .
Operation Flow
For a much better result the solution of water and sugar must be completely wave less . So the crystals will appear more symmetric and clear .
Research
Now a days we live in a world that we do not just rely on the use of things we have .We want every thing to be beautiful , chic and in its best look possible and we also want things to be environmentally friendly because of the world's pollution problems . Our design includes all aspects of a good , innovative design .
Inspiration
As we all know tea is the world's second favorite and most used hot drink. It is mostly used in Europe and Asia . People usually drink tea with sweets and other things such as honey,sugar,lemon,dates,rock candies. In my country it is mostly used with rock candies but they are not beautifully designed and they add lemon flavor to rock candies which makes it really disappointing . This design is healthier because we used a slice of dried frozen lemon and more beautiful.It is a drinkable jewel .
