The project is located in Ningbo, a city that was the starting point of the ancient Maritime Silk Road and is still one of the most important port cities in China. The design inspiration comes from the container terminal. By combining container elements, colors and geometric figures in an orderly manner, an industrial-style business center is constructed. Taking the container as a box, each individual space is stacked and reassembled and redistributed through the whole space to form different open areas and structure. At the same time, different containers interpret different colors, like the high saturation of building blocks and the color composition of large blocks. Combined with the interspersed blocks, they together form an industrialized, modernist aesthetic with a sense of "order".

The work uses industrial die-cast corrugated metal panels as an important design element. Thick metal collides with bright colors, and the deconstructed space is paired with a well-organized order. These contradictions and conflicts are finally settle down and blooming in such an interior space.
As an office, it should have both the privacy of the meeting and the transparency of the public area. Therefore, we must think about how to balance the functionality of the space. The designer uses movable partitions to divide a space of 1,500 square meters. The partitions of the conference area form a modular space. When there is no meeting, the open mode can be maintained, which can ensure the transparency of the overall space; when there are meetings, it can be closed, and the interior and exterior will not be affected by each other, which improves the efficiency of meeting office.
The project finished in December 2020 in Ningbo, China.
The freight containers on the wharf appear in the visual field of people in the form of architecture, such a unique shape can be regarded as a beautiful street scene. As a new, environmentally friendly and movable building material, it is increasingly favored by people and will gradually form a trend.
The combination of line and surface is another design focus of this project. The lines are the characteristics of the container itself, and the industrial die-cast corrugated metal panels have a natural texture.
Inspired by the container terminal, high saturation of container combined with the interspersed blocks in an orderly manner, and each individual space is reassembled to form different open areas, together form an industrialized, modernist aesthetic with a sense of "order".
