Zero Emission Flight for AERONEAK
The Zeaim provides urban air mobility around the world, and anyone can fly independently, as no pilot is needed. It will bring zero emissions for small-scale air travel. Also, It would revolutionize the point-to-point paradigm of air transport. The Zeaim can take off and land vertically. It is also capable of short-distance take-off and landing. There are two engine options available: four hydrogen-powered engines or four electric motors. Moreover, two types of landing aids are available, including 3-cycle gears or skids.

The fuselage and engine ducts are made of modern composites. Most of the structures or parts will be manufactured using advanced manufacturing techniques such as 3D printing or additive layers. Electrical or hydrogen-powered engines are two of the main propulsion options. As the Zeaim is meant to be used by everyone, emerging ergonomic science, flight control, and navigation technologies will be integrated into the design. All-weather operation is another key feature of this design.
Every aircraft design project has its challenges, and the common one is to make every design piece functional and as light as possible. The driving force behind the Zeaim concept is the emerging market for urban air mobility. Its specific shape is inspired by the first nature flyer to highlight biodiversity. To do this, the designer has been looking for several areas and using more technologies as they emerge. Perhaps the most challenging aspect is the incorporation of all innovations into a single conceptual design.
The Design project began in Tehran, Iran in June 2020 and finished in Tehran, Iran in January 2021.
Apart from the zero-emission flight, the underlying advantage is that everyone can fly the Zeaim. No special training or pilot is required. It will be fitted with state-of-the-art networking infrastructure and is capable of operating in congested airspace. For private air transport or even an air taxi operator, it will have a decent price. It will involve new modes of point-to-point transport. Through modernizing the point-to-point travel model, Zeaim will also segment itself into a vehicle market capable of connecting major airports to smaller cities.
The already challenging environment of sustainable aviation was triggered by the Covid-19 pandemic. Now it seems that all these conditions are paving the way for a transformation approach to make the zero-emission flight a reality. Also, autonomous flight in the general aviation market, or even in commercial aviation, is being set up by pioneers. As a result, addressing autonomous flight capabilities was another motivating force to make this aircraft available to anyone who wants to taste the flight.
Advancing global technologies in sustainable aviation will lead to alternative modes of transport and innovations, including electrical engines or hydrogen-powered aircraft. Both systems are currently achieving zero emissions. The Zeaim is also motivated by the first flyers of Nature, particularly Water Bugs, which also play a significant role in the conservation of nature. Furthermore, a privatized model of air travel is more interesting than ever after the Pandemic.
