The project, 1362 square meters, challenges to integrate the space which was originally five independent small offices. By presenting design elements of the natural forces, designers metaphorically depict the characteristics of Internet connection. The pentagonal stereoscopic ceiling, connected but in independent shapes, symbolizes the clouds in the sky. The lightning grille that links with the clouds ceiling and responds to the contrasting lines on the floor cohesively directs the flow in the space. They all visually symbolize the massive and rapid flow of information in the I.T. industry.

The pentagonal stereoscopic ceiling, connected but in independent shapes, symbolizes the clouds in the sky. The lightning grille that links with the clouds ceiling responds to the contrasting lines on the floor, cohesively direct the flow in the space, and visually symbolize the rapid flow of the office. The concept of "flow" of nature echoes with the flow of the high efficiency of office activities, which gathers people together to bring out positive circulation, symbolizing a perpetual cycle.
network technology, technology industry, modern office space, the flow of water, pentagonal stereoscopic ceiling, office with VIP space, fast-paced office, the accumulation of air, Cloud, Air and Water, water is flowing from heaven to the earth, Heaven and earth: corresponding lines, natural forces metaphorically cast the characteristics of Internet connection
This project covers the space that was originally five independent small offices. While visually presents the concept of "flow" of our mother nature, the designers connected small independent spaces in series to represent the concept that "water is flowing from heaven to the earth," soundlessly implied a world of infinite connection. Designers metaphorically apply natural forces to cast the characteristics of Internet connection. The design fully depicts the characteristics and images of the network technology industry in a modern office space.
Designers create a large open office space to promote team connection and interaction for multiple teams. Their plan is to maintain the independence of the office areas to avoid interfering between each team group, and at the same time, to encourage smooth business connection and interaction. The design project fully expresses the corporate spirit and value. It delivers the aesthetics and simplicity of office space through a modern touch. While the practicality and functionality of the corporate space are achieved, it maintains an energetic vibe in its simplistic form.
This project, completed in 2019, locates in a high-floor office building in the commercial and business district in Taipei.
The main entrance is located in the middle of this office project, with the reception counter as the center to divide the project space into two blocks: the open space and the private space. A large open office area is on one side. Covertly, the staff rest area and the VIP reception room are on the other side. Department heads office area is arranged behind the reception counter, which brings out a sense of privacy and an imposing atmosphere with authority.
Regarding the office space project, the designers are challenged to bring out an atmosphere that will promote high interaction, teamwork, and a sense of cohesion. At the psychological level, the space must contain a unique visual representation of the corporate culture. Designers have to optimize the formality, aesthetics, and practicality of the office space to please the five senses and fulfill to enhance the best production efficiency of its user.
The design concept of "the flow of water" and "the accumulation of air" repeats in the project to express the idea of the fundamental and perpetual cycle in nature visually. The connotation of "cloud, air, and water" sum up the design concept and interpret the cycle of "the sublimation of water into air, the accumulation of air into cloud, the condensation of cloud into water, and the return of water to the earth". The concept of flow dominates the design of the big open office space.
