Work Place for Yao Xiaobing Space Design Studio
The revolving steps in the middle of the main hall connect the first and second floors. The open layout of the office area with black and white color and concise working position highlights the rationality and diversity of the design work. The irregular multilateral arc design is adopted in the second-floor space, which brings about the level changes of the whole space. At the edge of the space, a group of scopperil shaped white potted plants of different sizes are designed.

Unique Properties
YDS Design Office is located in the Global Center of Chengdu Tianfu New Area. In the world's largest single building, which is internationalized, compound and landscaped, the designer opens an aesthetic journey of blending ideal and art for visitors with respect, empathy and professionalism.

Production Technology
The main materials in this project are wood floor, tempered glass, paint board, marble, wallpaper, stainless steel, skirting and floor tile.
Design Challenge
The designer creatively design a "People Space" photo wall, with mysterious and enthusiastic faces, telling the designer's confidence and extraordinary in turning chaotic ideas into wonderful ideas.
Project Duration
The project started in June 2020 in Chengdu and finished in August 2020 in Chengdu.
Operation Flow
By the immersive corridor design full of philosophical meaning, the gray and black are mixed with light and dark, creating the illusion of time that "there is a small entrance in the mountain, as if there is light". It also makes the whole space get rid of the plane constraints, and quickly evolve to the depth, so that the field of vision converges and concentrates.
Research
When designers and visitors comb through the complicated design ideas here, occasionally look up or look far away, they will feel the beauty of natural harmony among space, people, and remote snow mountains.
Inspiration
In this case, people experience the design concept of "nature is magnificent by things, things are shaped by space, space is expressed by human, and human are harmonious by nature" presented by designers, feeling the exploration process of YDS Design Office over the years since its establishment.
