Residential House for INTERIOR DESIGN of ZHU YUE
The designer creates a theater of new scenography beyond ordinary life, bringing everyone into an imaginary world. The condensing light adds an elegant touch of warmth to the environment. The connection of these objects not only alleviates the constricted feeling caused by the low ceiling, but also renders both hard and soft furnishings in the space not as separate individuals, but as related entities with a narrative relationship. In this large space, the pattern of dynamic lines under the perfect scale layout and the multi-level linear orientation produce distinct perspectives of living.

This four-story house integrates the spatial designs of an interior design studio and a residence. The interior of this project selected a multitude of original materials to overlap one another in arrangement, which responds to the specialty of this interior design studio. Thus, with slender lines dividing the entirety of the space, a profound spatial experience is created for users.

The design aims to emphasize the three principles of practicality, functionality and spatial efficiency, and to generally keep the consistency of white walls and wooden materials that exhibit the warmth of home. In the corridor area on the third floor, glass brick walls are used to create a translucent and ambiguous effect. With perpendicular linear segments, a connected yet penetrating visual atmosphere is featured.
Inspired by the blueprints, the designer transformed the design studio area on the first floor into a blue key wall, with numerous lines meeting at a common vanishing point. Beneath artificial light sources, the painted walls flash and the different materials dance. The layout accentuates the lines against the lights and shadows that reflect the contrasting wall colors.
