Conceptual Showroom for Jining Guangren Real Estate Co., Ltd
The integration of classic elements and advanced materials delivered massive historic implication and generated urban vitality. The rusty plate carried historical memories, connected the past and the present of city. Though it served as an old industrial historical building, SNP design team wasn't took over industrialized design. Designers focused on materials and modeling so as to create grand theater like atmosphere. When it came to the entrance, designers took unobtrusive expression instead of bold presentation.

The former location had several plants and industrial equipment, SNP Group tended to transform this place from a industrial district into a steel fort theme park on the basis of retaining building original character.

Design Challenge
It's really hard to renovate the building while reserving its historical characteristics that arouse people's memory and curiosity.As well as fuse commercial function with a cultural exhibition hall.
Project Duration
The project started in April 2021 and finished June 2021 in Qingdao, Shandong Province, China
Operation Flow
The first floor is temporary exhibition hall and the second floor acts as main exhibition area. The open staircases in public area play a role in public activities. To meet mixed needs of the modern society, designers introduced new business forms like catering and cultural creativity .
Research
Designers always adhere to the design philosophy that city cannot evolve without history. So they dealt with industrial heritages carefully , made every effort to preserve urban residents memories and restated city history in the space narration.

Designers of SNP always adhere to the design philosophy that city cannot evolve without history. So they dealt with industrial heritages carefully , made every effort to preserve urban residents memories and restated city history in the space narration. Designers reserved pre-existing red brick when used anodised aluminium, a new type construction materials.The integration of classic elements and advanced materials delivered massive historic implication and generated urban vitality.
