Villa for W Design Interior and Archi
Whether you are in the living room, under the veranda, or in the side room, you can appreciate the landscaping all year round. The design team set up a family hall for worshipping Buddha at the garret of the main building. Take advantage of the recessed lights behind the solid wooden panels, peacefully bring about a holy, pure, and tranquil situation. The design team carefully arrange a living room and a dining room via home furnishings. The red-earth main wall is in concert with the family Hall that is set for worshipping Buddha on the opposite side.

Whether stroll amid the green courtyard, natural red-earth cubicle, or tranquil side room, quietly sweep away the hustle and bustle of the city.
Interior Design, Architecture, Villa, Natural ecosystems, Zen style
In terms of tectonics, the design team refine the essence of traditional methods and elements, and use contemporary methods to give new inheritance. In the application of materials, they insist on using materials that come from or are eco-friendly to the land. Shape the home that connects the nature and the universe.
The design team are aware that the property owner is a devotee of Buddhism, and draw inspiration from his most beloved Buddhist scripture. They are inspired by the classics, comprehend the wisdom words, and transform the scriptures as the design text of the project. Starting from the Heart Sutra and returning to the Heart Sutra, the soul penetrates the architecture. The spirit of the place is established as well. The atmosphere of the project is full of Buddha-nature without any Buddha statue.
The project started in October 2020 and finished in April 2011 in Taichung, Taiwan
The design team set a clear plan to meet the spatial themes and essential requirements, strive to bring about the open and airy configurations. The audio-visual room in the basement is separated from the study by a penetrating suspended bookshelf. The imposing high ceiling living room on the first floor equips large-scale French windows for people to appreciate the landscapes of the courtyard, the cubicle, and the side room.
The design team pick out natural solid wood, red earth, mineral paint, and ironwork as the main construction materials. The quality of those materials does not look variegated and aged after being weathered through the years, other than sets off natural changing textures. We adopt the traditional truss structural scheme to set the main building and take advantage of the double layer roof included a covered ridge with sidewall openings to achieve indoor natural ventilation.
The design team believe that a good architectural design should start with the "definition" conceptually. The more poetic way is to "inject the soul" into this architecture. Therefore, they hoping to create a deep inner atmosphere for the whole space.
