In execution of LILIDCHI projects, the cheap labor force, whose rights are being violated, has not been used. Through carrying out the projects, it is mentioned that it takes approximately 120 hours to wave and produce completely. The best and the highest grade materials are natural wool and cotton that will never harm the environment undoubtedly; thus, it's the indication of highly reliable and brilliant quality of its production that will never damage quickly and will be usable for long time.
All designs and motifs are drawn through a quick and freehand drawing, then they are applied and drawn in illustration software application as the form of carpet designs. Finally, the designs are obtained which are exactly like the weaving procedures of a hand-woven carpet.
The project started in April 2020 in Tehran and finished in September 2021 in Tehran, and was exhibited in Zaafaranie art studio in November 2021.
Once the designs phases are accomplished, they are printed in full size and delivered to our team of trained weavers, who implement the projects in a completely hand-woven manner without the use of any industrial machines. The only tool used in this project is 2 knitting needles. Cloths are woven by hand from a foundation row of stiches on the needle. QC is implemented throughout the projects because even one mistake causes the whole knitwear to be unraveled and knitted the right way again.
Qashqai designs were the first subject for researching since 2015 then field research about Nomadic tribes. In preliminary sketches, the artworks were presented in the form of knitting designs more similar to carpets and upon continuing this process in 2018, we selected historical Kashan Sialk Pottery motifs. Oak is the combination of our previous studies. It would take much time in nature through impressive inspirations to design this project, and finally in 2020, was presented.
My passion to Zagros Oak Forests Every year, I have a strong desire to inspire one of the precious treasures of art of my homeland, Iran and design these trustworthy artistic motifs on my knitwear collection while it seems that nature, as the most original and the most authentic art throughout the world should not be forgotten. So that, I aim to inspire a piece of generous nature for new winter hand-woven clothes in order to create a brilliant image of the impressive glory of nature.
