Production Technology

The product adopts PC and ABS injection molding process to make the shell and sheet metal, and the disinfection module is made of PA material, which is not easy to corrode and easy to maintain.

The biggest challenge is to ensure both the efficiency of disinfection and the rationality of human and machine.

The project started in Wuhan in September 2021 and completed in Wuhan in December 2021

Operation Flow

Through the top screen to independently plan and select the disinfection route, combined with the induction device to realize the unmanned disinfection mode, the rectangular screen on the front allows people to intuitively understand the operation information of the robot, and the projection device at the bottom can project the driving direction of the machine to help pedestrians avoid ahead. prevent collision.

Research

Through market research, we will study various data of consumers and medical staff, and propose solutions for disinfection of public places through the diversified analysis of competing products, and then build user goals in new application scenarios to find more humanized design points.

Inspiration

The new crown epidemic has increased people's attention to daily disinfection, but the cold disinfection machines in public places will always conflict with pedestrians, so I will design the disinfection robot from a more humane perspective

Project Overview

Germgo Disinfection Robot has been a Iron winner in the Robotics, Automaton and Automation Design award category in the year 2021 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition.
