The project is a new standardized fire station with a concentrated layout. By fusing trapezoidal plane into trapezoidal land, it shapes a sharp, sculptural building form. The north side adjoins Neihuan North Rd faced by the main entrance/exit. Vertical design makes the site almost level with Neihuan North Rd. The site elevation is higher than the municipal road elevation, preventing rainwater from flowing back. The layout meets the requirements of setback line, sun exposure and fire prevention.

Energy conservation: Low-E glass and thermal mortar are applied to windows and extruded polystyrene board is used on roof. Water supply and drainage: Low-impact development mode is adopted for rainwater comprehensive utilization system, septic tank and oil separation tank use fiberglass-reinforced plastics, and solar energy and air-source heat pump are used for hot water. Green building: Roof fruit garden and sunken green land are set to absorb, store and infiltrate rainwater and control runoff.
Site: Due to the irregular trapezoidal site, the street-facing surface on northeast side isn't long enough for 8 fire trucks to leave. So trucks leave on an inner courtyard-style route. Layout: The irregular site causes limitations on the layout, as sports field and training space need regular land. Setback line: The north and east sides are required to set back for 3m and 1.6m respectively, thanks to surrounding conditions, with fire station and sports field reasonably set on the limited land.
