Apartment Interior for L'atelier Fantasia
The design of fine jewelry is often inspired by the beauty of nature, conveying the idea of living in harmony with it. In this project, the designer used the favorite floral and mineral elements in jewelry design as the main design concept of the space. Through abstraction, a neoclassical design is brought into the space, and a delicate and artistic approach is used to create vivid, gem like colors and geometric lines, revealing a luxurious but refined residential space.

To echo the angular shape of the jewelry and love for nature, those irregular furnishings and furniture formed the space. The TV wall is inspired by the shape of an ornamental earring. By using a variety of natural stones that resemble the structure of jewelry with the architectural way to interpret the fine details. The main light on the dining table comes from the owners travel memory of Kyoto at its maple time. The feather tile wall in the toilet is also one of the collections as Harrods department store in England.

The artful furniture to form the taste and texture are installed the space. The living room is designed in lounge style with a movable sliding door of the TV wall. When closed, the arc symbolizes the geometric radiation of jewelry as art. In the study and dining room, Edra sofa, Serip lighting and Moooi wallpaper present irregular organic lines and shapes. The floral patterns are reinterpreted through a modern and graphic perspective, showing the face of the space in a neoclassical form.
In order to achieve a sapphire-like wall color, we changed several types of blue paints during the process, but we were unable to achieve the sapphire color that the designer had in mind. Finally, after mixing several shades of blue paint, the perfect blue color that desired was achieved by tryouts and became the deep sapphire like color of the master bedroom.
This project started in 2020 and finished in February 2021 in Taipei City, Taiwan.
The rich use of colors and materials are the aesthetic elements that make up this case. Through a realistic design approach, the designer extracted style from the jewelry elements and interpreted the entire space with a contemporary aesthetic. By incorporating the living experience of the residents and the display of jewelry at different points in time, a unique and luxurious residential style is achieved.
Most jewelry designs use diamonds, colored gemstones, and precious metals, where texture encompasses the texture. To transform the jewelry elements into spatial elements, the designer studied various types of jewelry, styles, and textures. Finally, the value of jewelry is presented in the whole space by combining the physical luster, color, and material touch with the abstract design vocabulary. While satisfying the needs of customers, it also creates a different living space for them.
Inspired by the owner collection of ornamental earrings, the designer has embodied jewelry elements in the interior design. Through special craftsmanship and organic lines with a bionic touch, the colorful and gorgeous structure of fine jewelry is brought into the space, and the art deco, soft furnishings and lighting are used with great style to create a luxurious yet warm and emotional residence.
