Next to the living room, there is an independent game room convenient for watching the children play. This area is based on the concept of Lego blocks, and the lighting has made the children's childhood an exclusive castle.

The entrance to the interior is composed of hexagonal collaged floor tiles, unique custom-made ceilings and particular lacquer walls, perfectly interpreting a diverse field between inside and outside. The living room facing the entrance is dominated by cultural stone walls with red brick elements, forming a unique industrial style. The arc ceiling and ring-shaped chandeliers create a planet-like scene. The height difference between beams and columns and visual oppression are also ingeniously finished with a moulding ceiling. British style leather furniture and collection of ornaments and toys, mix and match full of trendy and classic styles.
There are both elderly, preschool children, and newly born babies in the family, crossing an age span of more than 60 years and exacerbating space design challenges. To meet different members' needs and aesthetic preferences, the designer creates a warm and safe ideal living environment with extensive and diverse public areas and bedrooms with independent styles.
The project finished in February 2021 in Taoyuan, Taiwan.
Unlike today's ordinary open living and dining room, the dining area is independent of the living room. The dining and kitchen open spaces combine with the island, light bar and dining table. It enables the family to communicate and interact without hindrance while cooking and dining, tightening the relationships in this communicative area beyond the living room. The bedroom space considers users' point of view and prioritizes their preferences and personality characteristics.
The space planning uses a mix of composite elements. The apartment removed unnecessary partitions and introduced natural lights, considering four young children and an elderly in the family. It is also decorated with environmentally friendly green building materials, and the childish style design details, hoping to provide children and the elderly a beautiful memory space full of family coexistence and sharing the joy of family. The design returns to the original intention, and through ingenious and childlike residential planning, the home becomes a paradise for the family of the old, middle and young generations.
The contemporary residential design pays more and more attention to creating the atmosphere of the public space at home, especially for large families who live together. Producing a high-quality environment in the public space to promote interaction between families while maintaining the personalization of the private space is an essential topic of the space design to make the two achieve compatibility. This case is a large scale mansion where two adjacent households are connected into one. The three generation multi member family includes the owner couple, children and elderly, a total of seven people.
Heart Residence Residential House has been a Iron winner in the Interior Space and Exhibition Design award category in the year 2022 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition.
