Residential House for SeeING Design International
The site features continuous window views and natural light. Designers create flexible use of space circulation and visual uninterrupted. Also, the designers arranged the master bedroom in the south-facing plan, which is also the position where the sun shines the most in the whole house in winter, which is not only warm but also relatively dry. The other room is intended to be a connecting room, which provides privacy and flexibility to connect to the master bedroom. The two-bedroom of the whole household not only has flexible use, but also has good indoor ventilation and air circulation.

Unique Properties

The second room is intended to be a connecting room, which provides privacy and flexibility to connect to the master bedroom. The two-bedroom makes flexible use and good indoor ventilation, and air circulation. From the inside of the house to the beautiful scenery outside the window, the owner can enjoy the endless extension view.

This is a residence where the owner will retire and live in the future. The designers consider not only relaxation but also the convenience and safety.
Project Duration
The project started in Sep. 2020 in Taiwan and finished in July 2021 in Taiwan, Taipei City.
Operation Flow
It is often heard that great money cannot buy a good neighbor. But more importantly, the right idea earns more. It is well versed in the definition of a good house. The most important thing in a good house is to connect the inside of the house with the environment outside the building that is sunlight, scenery and air! Based on such a concept, the visual field is emphasized, as well as the greenness and nature; when planning, designers also focus on the impact of changes in sunlight and temperature and humidity on daily life when the seasons change.
Research
For a long time, the designers have been through several meetings, conversations and observations, to deduce and present the comfortable life mode of the user (owner) in the space, rather than defining the space by style. What is worth believing is that, based on the experience accumulation of designers, the designer deeply know that a design based on such a concept is the key to create successful work.
Inspiration
The residence is where the owner plan to retire within the next few years and will move to Taipei city from warm southern Taiwan. During several months of design meetings, the owner stayed in the hotel while travel. What is interesting is that when this work was completed, designers went all the way from floor plan, facade, lighting plan, material selection, color scheme, and so on. Although designers did not set any certain style for the space, but when the case was completed, designers and the owner naturally and unintentionally shaped a boutique residence. Going home is like checking in presidential suite.
