Research
The Kahramanmaras Doga Hospital was designed with elegant materials throughout, with a colour scheme that emphasizes warmth and textures that take inspiration from nature, creating a harmonious and calming atmosphere. Light hues such as ivory, taupe and beige were specifically chosen to foster a sense of cleanliness, with shades of earthly greens and browns incorporated to enhance the natural feel.
Inspiration
Quark Studio Architects approached the design with a focus on promoting a restful and restorative environment for both patients and staff. The incorporation of natural elements and amenities throughout the hospital was a key factor in achieving this goal. The hospital's interior is adorned with artificial greenery, creating a calming and refreshing ambience that helps to reduce stress and facilitate recovery.
