Residence for Yanchu Interior Design
The space retains its beauty and shows pure aesthetics. From the entrance, the room is full of gray tones. In pure gray, there are different shades of gray to create subtle visual changes. The TV wall and the wall behind the sofa use light, medium, and dark shades of gray as the base, and are then decorated with different materials to shape a sense of space. Even if people are in the space, they will not feel depressed by the large area of gray.

The cabinet next to the TV wall is designed by the client, they use different materials and colors, such as the partitions, to make the visual effect more vivid and make the proportion more harmonious. The design team uses the black grooves of fine lines on the ceiling to create a division, reduce the proportion of beams in the space, and weaken the volume of the air conditioner to make the visual effect of the master bedroom more harmonious.
Modern, industrial style, yuppie, minimalist, gray tones.
Building materials: laminate flooring, iron parts, glass, moru glass, Cement special coating, wood grain, grille system cabinet, floor tile, curved artificial stone. The wall behind the sofa is specially coated with Cement special paint to form a natural cement texture and the texture of architectural concrete, presenting the industrial style preferred by the clients. In addition, the Cement special paint is odorless, formaldehyde-free, scratch-resistant, and crack-resistant, making it an eco-friendly green building material with a longer service life than general paints.
The design team takes over the client's original design and continues the style. Because the space was not in very good condition and the client's budget was limited, it took a lot of time for the design team to retain the existing design and create a space that suit the client's needs. Moreover, as the clients have specific requirements for the style, the design team makes use of color and material transformation to integrate with the original design style to create the ideal residence desired by the client.
The project finished in April 2021 in Taiwan.
The project is designed for the couple, whose favorite spaces are the living room and the master bedroom. In the living room, as the client prefers modern and simple lines, the storage area is concentrated in the cabinetry next to the TV wall to reduce the size of the cabinetry to achieve the minimalist style. As for the dressing room and the master bedroom, there is a desk in each room. The couple can each occupy a corner and enjoy a relaxing time for both business and leisure.
The theme is gray, with black iron parts to bring out the industrial style, and then with simple lines to present a modern sense. In the living room, the large area of cabinets is modified with a grille to reduce the sense of visual oppression and make the original rigid design more flexible. Meanwhile, the cabinets are not cut to the floor but are suspended to show lightness. Drawers are planned under the guest bedroom couch to provide additional storage space and flexibility in the use of the room
Initially, the clients found their construction team to conduct the project, however, the design team took over the mission because the clients found that the result was not as expected during the process. The clients expect to integrate the existing design and their desired style into one, so the design team takes the style provided by the client to make a more suitable transformation. At the same time, the clients can enjoy a quality atmosphere at an affordable budget.
