Production Technology

The interior becomes an immersive space that coexists with nature. It is also a comfortable retreat to enjoy the greenery. Naturally, there is no absolute straight line. The flowing semi-outdoor intermediary space is stacked with the indoor high and low three-dimensional magic cube space. The limited space is connected in series through the innovative design of sliding stairs that can be completely hidden in the shoe cabinet. Enlarge social communication, entertainment, relaxation, work, study, and daily life infinitely. Let life be full of imagination. Extend the space level; change the space proportion; enrich the space function. The material should emphasize its natural texture. Back to Simple. The so-called " Simple". Described as honest and innocent. The essence of spiritual restraint. No carving or decoration is required, like chaos. It is the most beautiful realm realized by the wise. Nature is beauty to express the attitude towards beauty. In the context of global warming, we propose new principles as our design framework. Starting from environmental analysis and modeling, incorporating low-energy consumption materials and technology, and preserving biodiversity, through the craftsmanship of ecological design, we present a low-carbon aesthetics which provides comfort, health and a sustainable lifestyle.

Design Challenge

When the building is no longer a cold and proud space. More ecology and greenery let people learn to get along with nature. Buildings no longer need to rely on extensive air conditioning. If every building can listen to the environment, grasp the opening and wind direction and try to plant trees back. Can we transform the urban concrete jungle into green hills and preserve a livable environment for our family and future generations?

Project Duration

The project started in March 2022 in Taipei and finished in July 2022 in Taipei.

Operation Flow

We plant 210 species of plants, including 32 trees and 496 shrubs. The overall indoor and outdoor form a layer-by-layer interdependent ecological circle. Bring back the lost greenness and ecology. Create green coverage ratios of 45%, increasing nearly 220 kg of Carbon fixation a year.

Research

We implement sustainable design throughout our projects, from initial planning to operation. Our experiences and successful projects reassure the attainability of a sustainable lifestyle. Through attentive design and planning, we hope to create a healthy environment that eliminates the boundary between humans and nature.
