Unique Properties
Glacier is inspired by broken ice flowing on the glacier. The two types of table surface, crack and ripple, refract colourful lights repeatedly, giving people an unparalleled visual experience. Metal leg supports the transparent glass tabletop, which can meet the emotional needs of different people while adapting to any living environment. Whether it's a lively party with friends and family, or a quiet and leisurely time alone, anyone can find their spiritual home on this table.

Production Technology
Glacier uses round table surface and legs. The tabletop is made of glass, with different art patterns presenting different texture textures. The position of the light strip is flush with the glass tabletop. When the light turned on, it penetrates through the glass, and the splendour comes one after another. Touch switch and remote control can be operated to control three lighting modes, both convenient and quick.
Design Challenge
The biggest challenge in the design process is the choice of glass and the form of light. Not only that, but also the effect of the combination of the light strip and the glass needs to be considered. At last, I chose the ice crack and water ripple glass. Light strips parallel to the glass for better penetration. I hope that this product can bring a pleasant experience for everyone.
Project Duration
The project started in Shenzhen in February 2023 and completed in Shenzhen in June 2023.
Operation Flow
The Glacier bar table uses three light modes to create an entertainment atmosphere exclusive to users through a simple button: the colorful constant light mode is a fashionable decoration of daily life, the breathing light mode is a quiet companion for alone time, and the flash mode is an exciting booster for a multi-party gathering. The sparkling glass is suitable for placing delicate wine sets, and the waterproof structure of the tabletop prevents spilling drinks during parties.

Inspiration
Liberating people's spirits in the post-epidemic era. More people are focusing on improving the quality of life, with an overflowing desire to share. Therefore, furniture like Glacier, which is colourful and shows the vitality of life, comes into being. It can be a decoration of home, a business card to show aesthetics, but also can become a bridge of communication between friends, leading us to rethink the way people communicate with others and with themselves in the post epidemic era.
Project Overview
Glacier Bar Table has been a Iron winner in the Furniture Design award category in the year 2023 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition. The Iron A' Design Award is awarded to good designs that meet the rigorous professional and industrial standards set by the A' Design Awards. This recognition is reserved for works that demonstrate a solid understanding of design principles and show creativity within their execution.
