Made of high-quality ultra-lightweight waterproof and moisture-permeable fabrics, this down jacket with a breathable system enables zonal warmth, so it is suitable for various harsh weather conditions.

Unique Properties
It is a down jacket specifically designed for children to facilitate their outdoor activities. Made of high-quality waterproof and moisture permeable fabrics, this down jacket with a breathable system enables zonal warmth. Combined with an ergonomic design, this down jacket is a perfect partner for children doing outdoor sports.

Production Technology
The outer layer is made of an ultra-lightweight waterproof and moisture-permeable membrane with excellent water resistance (Level 4) and moisture permeability of 8000g/(m2.24h). Combined with the 20D fish scale gauze, it is highly waterproof and is 10% lighter than similar products, making it easier to cope with diverse outdoor conditions. The lining uses 20D lightweight recyclable polyester and 800+FP high fluffy goose down certified by RDS, reducing weight by 5% while keeping warmth.
Design Challenge
The inner layer of this down jacket adopts a zonal filling structural design to secure zonal warmth, ensuring comfortable wear while keeping warm while doing sports. Thanks to its lightweight materials and craftsmanship, this down jacket is 15% lighter than competitive products, facilitating kids to move freely and enjoy doing sports.
Project Duration
The project finished in September 2023 in Shanghai.
Operation Flow
This 3-in-1 kid's down jacket consists of an outer hardshell and inner down content, allowing a free combination to meet various needs. If worn entirely, the zipper under the outer sleeve and the knitted fabric under the inner sleeve would form a breathable system, allowing kids' skin to breathe by unzipping and keeping them dry while doing sports. With 3D reflective fabric, this down jacket is childish and safe, catering to kids' preferences.
Research
Designing a set of kid's multifunctional down jackets suitable for diverse scenarios and different seasons is one of the core issues of this project. For this reason, we utilize lightweight, skin-friendly, comfortable, and waterproof materials, intricate craftsmanship, clever structural design, and stylish and childish appearance to launch this down jacket, which enables multi-scene protection, embodying the design concept of focusing on kid's growth.
Inspiration
This kid's down jacket was born with safeguarding kids' growth at the heart of its design conception. It uses a patented pattern conforming to human mechanics and selected lightweight materials for cozy and light wear. Featuring a professional hard shell and inner warm yet light down content, it can be worn in daily life or outdoor activities, meeting multi-scene needs. It can also be worn entirely or separately according to different temp and seasons, which is economical and practical.
