Production Technology
The petals of lilies are made through Chinese traditional filigree technique, with several sparkling gemstones as stamens. The purple pearls unique to China and Swarovski dazzling purple crystals enhance each other.
Design Challenge
The challenge lies in how to create a jewelry piece that is aesthetically appealing while also embodying rich cultural significance. The design elements including lilies and purple pearls convey specific emotions and meanings, making the work a means of expressing personal emotions and taste. Additionally, the work with distinct regional characteristics highlights eastern aesthetics, thereby becoming an impressive jewelry creation.
Project Duration
This work was designed in October, 2022 in Hangzhou, and launched in September, 2023 in China.
Operation Flow
The work artfully strings together lustrous purple pearls and elegant lilies, with radiant gemstones delicately adorning the center like flower stamens. When users wear the necklace, the lifelike lily design appears as if an elegant natural sprite was perched gracefully on the neck. Such an elegant and dynamic work is suitable for everyday wear, yet equally fitting as an accessory for evening events or special occasions, showcasing both elegance and uniqueness.

In the jewelry market, uniqueness and innovation is key to attracting consumers. The lily, often considered as a symbol of purity and nobility, has an auspicious meaning of everything going as desired. The purple pearls of the necklace are precious gems unique to China. The work skillfully combines lilies with purple pearls, creating an exquisite jewel integrating traditional Chinese aesthetics and modern craftsmanship, bringing fresh inspiration and direction to the field of jewelry design.
Inspiration
Flowers Hand Scroll is a masterpiece in Chinese painting. Centered around the theme of flowers, it features various blossoming flowers, each with its own unique characteristics, to symbolize good fortune and longevity, and express the longing for a better life. Inspired by it, the brand incorporates the elements in the painting, like the lines, shapes and colors of flowers, into jewelry design, thus creating a work that strikes a balance between eastern traditional charm and modern aesthetics.
Project Overview
Purple Lily Pearl Necklace has been a Bronze winner in the Jewelry Design award category in the year 2023 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition. The Bronze A' Design Award is given to outstanding designs that showcase a high degree of creativity and practicality. It recognizes the dedication and skill of designers who produce work that stands out for its thoughtful development and innovative use of materials and technology. These designs are acknowledged for their professional execution and potential to influence industry standards positively. Winning this award highlights the designer's ability to blend form and function effectively, offering solutions that enhance people's lives and wellbeing.
