This case focuses on the exhibition pavilion design for the Spanish brands DEKTON & COSENTINO at "Design Shanghai," covering an area of 150 square meters. 2.Functionality: The project, a smaller exhibition hall, utilizes an open layout to draw in visitors while offering three main functions: 1. Product display, 2. Customer interaction, 3. Coffee and water bar services.
showroom, Prefabricated construction,Innovative material, recyclable and reusable
1.Dekton Slim slabs are ultra-thin, 4mm thick, and high-performance, ideal for indoor and outdoor walls, floors, and furniture, offering durability and resistance to wear and weather. 2.Prefabricated construction, with factory-made high-precision models, enables quick, 12-hour installation, cutting labor costs and pollution. 3.A lightweight support system, designed for DEKTON Slim's slim profile, uses light metals or composites for stable, less burdensome structures.
1.Challenge: Dekton Slim slabs are processed and installed using prefabricated construction, enabling on-site assembly within 12 hours. 2.Research: Focuses on the slab's full size, ultra-thinness, and modular design for optimal material use. 3.Technology: Utilizes dry hanging construction for easy dismantling and reuse of Dekton Slim, minimizing environmental impact.
This project started in Shanghai, China, on May 21, 2023, and concluded in Shanghai on June 11, 2023.
Imagine a material as thin as paper yet as sturdy as stone: Dekton Slim easily covers walls to floors, ideal for bar counters, ceilings, furniture, and more with its versatility. Environmental Pioneer: A special hook system makes the material easy to install and dismantle, supporting reuse and showcasing an eco-friendly philosophy. Innovative Experience: The flexibility of the material offers a completely new spatial interaction experience for people.
To highlight Dekton Slim slabs' benefits, their key features were explored: full size, lightweight, durability, and 3D seamless design. Used in a 3.3x1.4 meter format for floors, ceilings, walls, and countertops, they create a cohesive look, showcasing expansive surfaces and integrated design. The open layout optimizes visitor flow and product visibility.
The four major features of Dekton Slim slabs are: 1.Large Size: The exhibit hall utilizes Dekton Slim's maximum original dimensions of 3.3x1.4 meters for modular design. 2.Lightweight: With a thickness of only 4mm, it significantly reduces structural load. Integration: Leveraging its lightweight and durable properties for a unified floor-to-ceiling wall design, it presents the visual aesthetics of a bar counter extending from the floor. 3.Recycling (Dry Hanging Construction): The construction method is dry hanging, allowing for the material to be easily dismantled and recycled, thus reducing resource waste.
