Residence for Cloud Pinnacle
In the foyer, kitchen, and dining room, the designer used dark ceilings and wood veneers to emphasize sophistication and professionalism. Dark-colored laminate walls enhance the sense of luxury and warmth. A hidden storage area behind the kitchen island provides understated utility. In the living room and bedrooms, the designer used light-colored walls and wooden floors for coziness and comfort. Darker laminate walls add luxury and warmth. Interior design is not just about beauty, it's about connection.

The clients are a couple with their two children. The husband is a chef. The couple loves the kitchen-centered space and wants the home to reflect sophistication and professionalism. The designer used color to symbolize the boundaries of each area to meet the client's requirements. The designer used dark ceilings and wood veneers to create a sophisticated and professional image. In addition, a hidden storage area behind the center island bar makes the space more functional.
Color differentiation, customization, functional design, sustainable design.
Material: quartz stone, large slab tile, Formica laminates, titanium plated board, tile, iron parts, aluminum frame. The bar made of laminates is wear-resistant, heat-resistant, corrosion-resistant, and easy to clean suitable for kitchens and dining rooms. Iron fittings are used for decoration and lighting, and the floor is covered with 60, 120cm durable and beautiful tiles. The walls are covered with dark-colored laminates to contrast with the wood veneer on the ceiling, creating depth of field and a sense of calmness.
The biggest challenge was to create a desk with a suspended structure. To ensure the durability of the desk's structure, the designer used steel to support the entire structure, and most of the articulated walls were made of glass. Although this added to the complexity of the construction, the designer was able to fulfill the client's requirements and achieve the spirit of interior design. On the other side, the open kitchen grease and smoke must require the perfect location of the air conditioning to ensure that the air quality is maintained for a long period.
The project finished in October 2023 in Taiwan.
Through careful observation and communication, the designer understood the client's needs and living habits. The designer paid attention to details, such as lighting design and space layout, to create a comfortable and practical home. The couple is very satisfied with the final result, saying that the design fits perfectly with their lifestyle, especially in terms of kitchen equipment and storage. The open space allows the family to interact with each other while cooking and is also much brighter and more spacious.
The name of the customized project, 'Ruilan', comes from the layout. The client is a passionate cook, and as a chef, he wants to combine his hobbies in his home. The designer transformed the kitchen into a private, high-class space. In addition, a lot of planning has been done to make the social area comfortable and convenient, including color stacking, penetration, storage capacity, cooking equipment, etc., for the client's daily life. When people are interested in something, they become involved in it. The client's pursuit of cooking is equivalent to the designer's pursuit of aesthetics.
The clients are a couple with their two children. The husband is a chef. The couple loves the kitchen-centered space and wants the home to reflect sophistication and professionalism. With the kitchen as the core of the home, the designer created a space that combines the functions of a private kitchen with a cozy family atmosphere. The 304, 110cm bar not only serves as a dining area but also allows the client to interact with family and friends while cooking.
