Unique Properties
Succeeded in changing home ambiance with little touches, the poufs and side tables are now ready to take their place in spaces with their masculine touches. With its fusion style created by combination of cold-looking materials with warm details,Pinarch Design meets the living spaces with its pure lines.Put forth her difference with her sculptural designs, the interior architect Pinar Eren blended several items such as leather, marble, metal and textile,reflecting her own approach to her design.

Production Technology
The design process involved a meticulous selection of materials, blending the elegance of black marble with the weathered charm of tumbled brass. Notably, the head and coffee table sections exclusively feature marble, accented by a wooden panel extension. In contrast, the foot section incorporates aged brass, evoking a sense of timeless endurance and character.
Design Challenge
The creative challenge lay in the intricate handling of materials, particularly the weighty nature of marble and the delicate process involved in producing tumbled brass. Careful inspection and meticulous handling were essential to prevent damage during production. Moreover, the variability in color tones of tumbled brass presented a consistent challenge, requiring manual tumbling for precision. The external factors of production possibilities and technological constraints underscored the need for meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Project Duration
Queen was designed, exhibited and put on sale in the most exclusive store in Turkey, Beymen in 2021.
Operation Flow
The versatility of this product transcends boundaries, seamlessly fitting into various settings with timeless appeal. Its adaptability renders it suitable for diverse environments, whether adorning the entrance of a store or gracing the foot of a bed. Evoking the essence of a timeless work of art, its presence enhances any space with a touch of sophistication and aesthetic allure.
Research
The design research journey commenced with the interior designer's keen eye for identifying project shortcomings and envisioning improvements. Drawing inspiration from the timeless beauty of natural stone, particularly marble, served as the foundation. By incorporating contrasting elements such as cold beer and warm materials, a harmonious blend of aesthetics and functionality was achieved in the final creation.
Inspiration
The inspiration behind the Queen Bench project stemmed from a desire to merge cherished elements: marble, brass, and wood. Seeking to introduce a unique touch to Turkish homes and workplaces, designer envisioned a bench rather than conventional seating. Functionality intertwined with artistic expression was paramount. Drawing inspiration from geometric shapes, the design aimed to exude minimalist elegance and masculine appeal.
Project Overview
Queen Bench has been a Bronze winner in the Furniture Design award category in the year 2023 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition. The Bronze A' Design Award is given to outstanding designs that showcase a high degree of creativity and practicality. It recognizes the dedication and skill of designers who produce work that stands out for its thoughtful development and innovative use of materials and technology. These designs are acknowledged for their professional execution and potential to influence industry standards positively. Winning this award highlights the designer's ability to blend form and function effectively, offering solutions that enhance people's lives and wellbeing.
