Production Technology

The trench is made from wool, has a magnetic closure, and, on the other hand, a playful girl just placed some magnets in the lining too, in order to change the style passing through seriosity to a childish vibe. After, I wrote some happy thoughts on Tyvek paper and..kiss the lips! Work done!

Design Challenge

The challenge was mainly making my way through the industry. The secret challenge of my Renaissance's Coat is his hidden magnets. I've put some there with my hand. After, I've wrote two or three words on my tyvek paper and..that was all for changing the style. " Faboulous!" I ve just said to myself when I was finishing the job. " This is the way I will never get bored with my lovely trench. An adult today, child again tomorrow, you always should have one more option. Even if we are speaking here of same coat. This is my challenge always.

Project Duration

The Renaissance Campaign was launched in Fall 2016 in Bucharest, and finished in April 2017, Romania.

Operation Flow

Is all about renaissance of the soul through love and through clothes. You can wear it like an ordinary must have trench coat in your closet, for boring working days! But this kind of trench can be transformed in a special one because it is full of magnets in the lining! You' ll be the star when night will come, because you have in your pockets the Tuvek paper which is handmade written and you will put it on your boring trench for an unboring vibe. That's all you need for a great and childish look!

Research

The research was based on my inner search, a life lesson about love, all experiences put in one storyline for the collection. I wasn't looking for something creative as a must, I always put the accent at an emotional impact, since for me, fashion is not just about dressing the body, is also about dressing the soul. Thinking like this and choosing this concept for the campaign, I realised that the impact was different, since people reacted with empathy and smiles to the collection, embracing the idea of filling your closet with garments that suit your personality.

Inspiration

The inspiration and the story of this piece comes from the idea that we are born from love, we make love with love in order to born a child only from love. With this idea in our minds and hearts, this fashion campaign took place in Jilava, a place used in the communist regime as a prison, where numerous political prisoners were destined to a slow and sure death, a place with a lot of stories to tell, as our designs have as well.
