This is a new architectural design and interior design project. First of all, in terms of architectural design, the project is located in the triangle between the two train tracks. The whole building is L-shaped and consists of two large buildings. In the interior design, the "big steps" is the visual focus of the public area, breaking the boundaries of the layers, extending and connecting the indoor functions, and clearly dividing the inner and outer partitions.
Car, Club, Architecture, Interior, Versatile, Social, Experiment
Considering the function and lighting, there are large triangular eaves designed on the first floor, and 6 meters long Windows and 6 doors and Windows on the second floor to form a sequence of light. In terms of materials, the building facade is made of red and black matched pressed steel plate, which conforms to the brand positioning. The facade of the large indoor steps adopts super white frosted glass, which turns into a luminous box to adapt to different brand display needs.
As a newly built building, The Pit House has a relatively rare space type, with The particularity that The site is sandwiched by two railways. It starts from the brand planning and discussion to help party a clarify the management idea, to the battle of wits And courage with the property after the plan is approved, and finally to balance the cost and effect in the selection of materials and Technology.
The project is address is Fanshi Town CP3, Chaoyang District, Beijing, China. It was designed in May 2018 started construction in July 2018, and was completed in January 2019.
Because of the geographical location, buildings can only be overthrown and rebuilt within the original area. From the construction of the underlying load-bearing steel structure, to the completion of the building and the selection of materials, to the installation and commissioning of interior design and lighting, and the final furniture accessories. From architecture to interior, we offer a complete design and experience for the brand and also want to explore more business and social values.
As an attempt to develop a new car-related space, after it was completed, we saw that The Pit House not only has a car shop but also a restaurant, and it is often used as an event venue, such as brand display, party events, commercial photography, and so on. It really fulfilled all of our original ideas, so our experiments were temporarily successful, but our exploration did not stop.
Our definition of the project is "a social experiment for car enthusiasts". From architectural design to interior design, we hope it can become a new type of car social space with multiple functions. It can not only meet the basic cleaning and maintenance functions of traditional cars, but also become a display space for restaurants, party venues and brand events. I hope it can lead to the change of other car-related space and make people pay more attention to relevant car brands.
