Residence for Lian Ta Design
As the site for the building was at the edge location, it means ample natural lighting, so the design team has given an open-plan layout so that the public domain of the interiors can have the most lighting and ventilation without artificial interventions. As the styling was inspired by the white-color scheme, masonry, and minimalist and fashionable elements, the public domain was treated with marble panels and ceramic doors for storage volumes, in shaping a minimalist modern living style.

As the interior was planned to serve different functions of social and living needs, a concerted materiality strategy with wide range of colors, textures, and materials was deployed to articulate the minimalist and light modern living.
This project was creatively anchored on the elements favored by the client such as white-color scheme and masonry materials to manifest a minimalist and fashionable styling, while complementing the many Chinese-styled tea-tasting set and art collections owned by the client.
