Design Challenge
How to create a sense of nature in the interior
Project Duration
The project site is in QingDao City, China. Now the design is completed and expected to begin construction in October 2020.
Operation Flow
The club includes a home lobby and underground pool, gym, yoga room, multi-function room and underground courtyard. The height of 5600 mm.
Research
Unlike the bright and cheerful lobby, the underground clubhouse on the first floor is quiet and mysterious. Out of the elevator car first arrived at the reception area, the reception area USES the arc elements extracted from nature combined with the hard stone, giving people a soft visual experience without losing the sense of strength, a good role as a "transition" space. Step into the hallway, reach the end of the hallway, open the door, smell the water, walk around the stairs, and you'll reach the pool. The underground pool is filled with a sense of tranquility like a bamboo forest, and the designers hope that guests who use the space can find a world to talk to, without outside interference, and enjoy the moment.
Inspiration
In this project, the designer extracted design elements from nature. The airflow of wind, the growth of plants, and the wandering of light are all part of the story of space.
