Project Duration
The project started in January 2020 in Hefei and finished in March 2020 in Anqing.
Operation Flow
The way of using this product is very simple. Users only need to use it like a common broom. Because it adds brushes in all directions, it is easier to clean many scenes.
Research
First, we brainstorm our design goals. Then through the query of relevant information and user interviews to understand user needs. Then sketch and model, and make a simple functional prototype.
Inspiration
In the past, Chinese people would collect chicken feathers to make cleaning tools. With the development of modern life, old tools are gradually unable to meet the new use scenarios and are eliminated. I got inspiration from traditional Chinese cleaning tools and designed a new broom.
Project Overview
360° Clean Multi Angle Cleaning Broom has been a Iron winner in the Hardware, Power and Hand Tools Design award category in the year 2020 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition. The Iron A' Design Award is awarded to good designs that meet the rigorous professional and industrial standards set by the A' Design Awards. This recognition is reserved for works that demonstrate a solid understanding of design principles and show creativity within their execution.
