According to EN 1789 and ECE R17, the whole Hoverboard Inbase must resist to 20g. Successfully tested by DEKRA Germany.
Project started in September 2017 in Mils/Austria. Market release in May 2019 at RETTMobil in Fulda/Germany
Operation: Just slide in the stretcher. The moment it locks, the Hoverboard adjusts automatically to the patients weight and lifts gently to the level for optimal riding comfort. Loading and unloading: When unlocking the stretcher, the Hoverboard lowers automatically for easy loading and unloading. Hence the patient only has to be slided, but never be raised manually. Pneumatic lateral movement device: Pressing one of the pushbuttons (front or backside) unlocks the cross motion device. As long as you press, you can move the Hoverboard sideways in 8 positions, each 32 mm. Releasing the button locks the Hoverboard in the nearest position. Rigid position (e.g. for reanimation): Pressing the blue main switch quickly lowers the Hoverboard to lowest, rigid position. Pressing the red switch quickly lifts the Hoverboard to highest, rigid position.
Research in emergency medicine. Objectives: Protecting patients in transport, ergonomics for physician and paramedics. Methods: Lab experiments and field test runs with various ambulances. Results: Patients feel better and stay in better condition. Less aggravation of their injuries. Medical staff can work in upright posture. This means a significant relief for their spine.
Patients worldwide are still being transported in ambulances straight above the rear axle of a delivery vehicle, suffering additional and unnecessary pain from road bumps. Besides, this causes enormous medical expenses for the aggravation of their injuries during the ride in the ambulance. Hoverboard Inbase insulates patients from impacts by an efficient air suspension, that absorbs up to 80 percent of the incoming acceleration by strokes from uneven roads. All automatic and self adjusting to patients weight.
