Design Challenge
In the process of planning this exhibition center, since the client believes in the traditional Chinese feng shui orientation, the space for displaying tiles must be arranged on the second floor. During the construction process, special attention were paid to construct a safe exhibition space with a strong steel structure under limited budget resources, which has become one of the difficulties that must be overcome in this project.
Project Duration
The project finished in January, 2020 in Taoyuan, Taiwan.
Operation Flow
In order to provide a display space for agents to choose products, the designer built a two-story display center in a large warehouse, which includes the reception desk, product display area, conference room and office area. The extravagant environment and smooth visitor experience provide customers with all-round services. In the choice of construction materials, the designer uses environmental friendly paint, recyclable wood, iron parts, etc. as the main building materials, with imported tiles sold by the client, using a soft light source, elegant and gorgeous space atmosphere.
Research
Since the client demands to display high-quality and diverse tile materials through the space, the designer combined the brand's image and products in the modern design, thus creating a gorgeous and elegant exhibition and sales space. The overall space is created with lively color tones, warm wood elements, soft lighting design, smooth planning, and a transparent view pattern. The multi-functional bar area further highlights the characteristics of the product and highlights the brand characteristics. The ceiling and the grille bring out the unique taste and practices the principles of quality.
Inspiration
Under the belief of sincerity and integrity of the client, the principle of emphasizing quality and enhancing the environmental aesthetics, the designers has showed gorgeous and elegant spatial characteristics with high-quality building materials, soft light, and comfortable, spacious space. In addition to the use of environmental friendly building materials in the design plan, the designer also used the tiles sold by the client in this project to effectively convey the brand's product characteristics, allowing each agent to increase the understanding of the product when choosing.
