Interior, Design,
The designer removes the previous mezzanine design, rearranges the layout by sorting out what is needed by the users, redefines the interior from 4 rooms 2 toilets to 2 rooms 1 toilet, shortens moving lines with open design, optimizes spatial utility, adopts wood veneers at the wide terrace entrance for a semi-outdoor leisure space and a homey look, . changes the stove direction in the kitchen for fine lighting and enjoying an urban view when cooking, and ensures a tidy public zone by storage sorted to meet the daily needs. To ensure a bright earthy mood in a tiny urban home, the designer uses open design, blends the outdoor terrace entrance in the urban view, picks the warm earth tone with wood and rattan furnishings pinpointed by a leather sofa for an urban chic touch in an earthy homey style, . uses single-array wood flooring laminates for a tall look and adopts the herringbone wood floor bricks at the terrace entrance for a retro earthy art style. The designer uses drapery in mauve to match the sun and earthy tone, gives the wall the trims in dim gray for a subtle fancy finish, partitions 4 blocks with diverse lights, and adopts the flexible translucent partitions when being opened and closed to sustain the depth of field in space.
It is a challenge to relocate the wires and tubes skillfully in this makeover without affecting the ceiling height due to a layout greatly changed.
To ensure a fine and fancy lifestyle for two, the designer deliberates to render independence and privacy to companionships at home, so the designer defines the open public zone as the central stage and the kitchen and the bedroom as the sub-stages to converge moving lines and eyeballs in the public zone and remakes the outdoor terrace entrance as a leisure zone to enrich their daily routines and enhance their bond by moving from a block to another at home.
To meet the daily needs of the users, the designer removes the previous mezzanine design, minimizes partitions, divides the interior into 4 blocks, renders a wide finish to a tiny home with open design and wood veneers at the outdoor terrace entrance, changes the stove direction in the kitchen for fine lighting when cooking, and ensures a tidy public zone by storage sorted in 4 blocks properly.
It is common to see a high-ceiling tiny apartment with a mezzanine for optimal spatial utility that breeds only confusing and complicating moving lines with a confined feel, so the designer minimizes partitions for a bright, open, neat and light homey feel to enhance the family bonds for the young couple owners by redefining what is needed by the users in their daily routines at home.
