Home is an open field, a space where people can liberate our-self. Also, family members can discover their own corner for activities . That's the reason why the HH2O Design Workshop designed a series of "Living Object" and "Color Planning" to connect the picture of life.
Scenario, Object, Living Object, Color Planning, Transparency, Fluidity, Algae Earth, Limited Budget, Natural, Environment
We aim to create a series of "Living Object" to respond life style and attitude towards the space. (1)Kitchen island is the central point in this project. The circular arc makes the overall space flowing and soft, while the colors are spiritual. (2)The bookcase is mainly made from iron and wood. We tried to reduce the heavy type of the bookcase, and set off the surface characteristics of earthy wall. (3)Entrance is made of glass bricks. The material properties coordinate the transparency, privacy of the space between inside and outside. It reflects the sensitivity of sunlight and movement.
With only 1/3 of the market price (about 23,000 USD), we converged and streamlined our designs to achieve the ultimate success with a low-budget way. At the same time, we committed to use the eco-friendly paint and materials in this project. We can say that the achievement is nothing but a great challenge.
The project started in June 2020 in Taiwan and finished in January 2021.
While choosing interior paint colors, the HH2O designer decided to use matcha green, goose yellow, and dark pink to respond to this tropical climate and the external landscape. Moreover, the HH2O designer designed a series of "everyday objects," such as kitchen island, bookcase wall, glass brick wall entry, and dining table, to connect each scene's beautiful daily life. The HH2O Design Workshop anticipate keeping the materials' simplicity and removing the redundant decorations, which can lead to real feelings and brew the family's everyday life.
We use a series of ''Living Objects'' to connect the scene of home. From vision, tactile, smell, hearing, and taste senses, we tried to create a field where the five senses overlap each other. We carefully select colors and retain the texture of materials, trying to create a fuzzy relationship between inside and outside. At the same time, we let the piano occupy a place in the space and opened the kitchen, to make the space intertwined with our daily life.
SCENARIO. The solid objects interact with people. Space also achieves the greatest variability. For a family, everyone has a common field, sometimes relative and sometimes independent. The space has largest flexibility and fluidity. It also presents the most natural life of family.
