Unique Properties

Evervess Soda is a legacy brand with nearly 80 years of heritage. In preparation for its unified launch in China, we modernized the visual identity for the nuances of this very important market. Evervess represents a product category that is seeing a huge uptick in the Chinese market. The brand has bright, carbonated sodas and tonics that can be mixed in cocktails or enjoyed on their own for some fizzy refreshment.

Inspiration

The historic branding had a heaviness that spoke to indulgence, but we wanted to clearly communicate the light and fizzy refreshment of the product line. After cleansing the palate of the packaging, we added a minimal black and teal graphic element. A fountain. A symbol of energy, refreshment and renewal. An uplifting element designed to cue lightness and the products gentle fizz.

Project Overview

PepsiCo Design and Innovation Beverage has been a Iron winner in the Packaging Design award category in the year 2020 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition. The Iron A' Design Award is awarded to good designs that meet the rigorous professional and industrial standards set by the A' Design Awards. This recognition is reserved for works that demonstrate a solid understanding of design principles and show creativity within their execution. Recipients of the Iron A' Design Award are acknowledged for their practical innovations and contributions to their respective fields, providing solutions that improve quality of life and foster positive change. These designs are a testament to the skill and dedication of their creators, showcasing their ability to address real-world challenges through thoughtful design.
