It is the job of the Police to maintain public order and security, to prevent the society from any possible harm. The panoramic image is the bird view on the city of infinite expansion to embody the vigorousness and justice of the Police. Its the mission and vision of the Police. Cabochon mirror in the center of the picture, which like a big eye is always caring and guarding the city.

" Shining in Wisdom and Glory " is a public art made of acid-resistant stainless steel, ceramics, glass, and LED. The surface of these three materials has a variety of different textures such as rough, mirror and polished surfaces. The materials all have the characteristics of reflecting natural light and artificial light.But have different effects from each other, especially the stainless steel cabochon, which can reflect the surrounding scenery, like a big eye, always caring and guarding the city. Illuminated by LED lights, the works show a more charming style during the day or night.

" Shining in Wisdom and Glory " is a public art made of stainless steel, ceramics, kiln-glassess. It is also a mosaic art of mixed media.These three materials have several common advantage, that is, they have a strong reflection effect on light and are weather resistant. Resistant to acid and will last forever.
Use abstract visual symbols to interpret the image of a fair and just police officer who is actively fighting crime and stabilizing the society, creating a bright and hopeful atmosphere.
The project started in April 2020 and finished with installation in the Taichung City Government Police Department, Taiwan in December 2020
"Shining in Wisdom and Glory" is installed on the wall of the interior space of the building lobby, facing the main entrance and exit of the elevator. The bright and hopeful atmosphere, welcoming the people who work and talk to the public here, is the spiritual landmark here.
This work uses more than 100 ceramic pieces with different textures and colors, and specially fired glass that can harmonize the colors. And it is cut and inlaid by hand. The three-dimensional stainless steel round mirror and the hidden Led light are the soul of the work. It allows every corner in the hall to be integrated into the line of sight, and through the suspended birds, the scene of the work continues from the 2D wall to the 3D space.
It is the job of the Police to maintain public order and security, to prevent the society from any possible harm.
