The sculpture is made of acid-resistant stainless steel and illuminated with RGB lights.It has several advantages, that is, it has a strong reflection effect on light, weathering and acid resistance, and it will last forever. In addition, the color of the sculpture will change due to the flowers planted on the ground, and it will bring visitors in different seasons Freshness.
The sculpture is broken down into 12 parts in the factory, and each part weighs about 500 kg to 1000 kg. It is a big challenge to accurately assemble the sculpture at the installation site like a large building block.
The project started in January 2018 and finished with installation in Taichung,Taiwan in October 2018
The installation location of the sculpture is at the meeting point of many main moving lines. Visitors can interact and get close to the work from all directions. It is a popular object for photographers and tourists.
The work uses stainless steel sheets to express the image of flowers and butterflies, but the sculpture is installed on the highest point of a large square and will withstand a lot of wind. Therefore, the shape of the sculpture incorporates design elements that allow the wind to penetrate. To reduce wind resistance. It also enhances the visual richness of the sculpture in the landscape and is more integrated with the environment.
