Production Technology
The exquisiteness of brick walls is used on the walls in the lobby, where all the layers of brick walls follow a uniform proportion. On the one hand, designers and engineers need to ensure the firmness of the brick wall, and on the other hand, they need to consider the design effect. Each process is carried out in an orderly manner to verify accurate and precise installation on site.
Design Challenge
This difficult project requires a great amount of energy to complete including the arrangement of a sufficient number of brick walls and the sophisticated workmanship.
Project Duration
The project started in August 2019 in Shenzhen and finished in September 2020 in Shenzhen.
Operation Flow
The design of extensive floor-to-ceiling windows maximizes the use of natural light, which optimize energy consumption and reduce energy costs for the guest rooms.
Research
The hotel is located 30 meters away from the Guanlan exit of Meiguan Highway on the north-south central axis of Shenzhen city. Positioned at the gateway of the Yesun Science and Technology Park with an area of over one million square meters, in which there are many Unicorn start-up enterprises and government major medical scientific research project bases, technology intelligent enterprises, and Fortune 500 companies.
Inspiration
The design is developed with the theme of "in search of lost time", seeking inspiration from the characteristics of Shenzhen's memory such as fishing villages, science and technology cities, etc. At the same time, it combines Lingnan culture and industrial style metal materials to present a new order form that interesting and meticulous design details can be found everywhere.
