Restaurant for BAY ARCE
The sea side has a large glass structure, and the view of the sea spreads all over. We designed the audience seats in the image of a large ship floating in the sea. The audience seats are round seats, table seats, counter seats overlooking the sea, large table seats and various seats where you can enjoy your meal. I made a beautiful curve with the image of waves on the ceiling of the audience seats. All of this wave curve is made of wood material, and I attached the ones that were bent by hand one by one. It is beautifully lit up at night.

The structure of the audience seats cannot be seen from the entrance, and when you enter the store, you can gradually see the audience seats and the sea. This is similar to the gradual increase in expectations. The entire audience seats have a large rounded shape and look like a large ship. If you look closely, the fine wood expresses the craftsmanship of the combination of natural wood colors. In addition, the wooden panel that represents the waves is beautifully lit up on the ceiling.
(Kanazawa Port) (Ishikawa Prefecture)
The wood called Noto Hiba from Ishikawa Prefecture uses materials with excellent characteristics such as deodorant and insect repellent as the foundation. In addition, the wave shape of the ceiling, which is the image of the waves of the sea, is also made of wood by a very delicate technique. The whole waist is also beautiful with a combination of fine wooden chips It creates a rounded shape and looks like a ship.
Metals such as steel bend easily to express the waves on the ceiling, but because the load on the ceiling is too high and I wanted to use wood, I draw a wavy drawing for each sheet and bend with wood. In Earl I configured it. It is fixed to the ceiling with a fine pin.
The project started in February 2019 in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture. It opened in April 2020.
What kind of space composition is comfortable for me? Also, the cozy space will succeed as a commercial space. I always think about that and work. For this Bay arce, you can enjoy a fresh seafood meal in a space overlooking the sea, so that you can respond to various occasions such as friends, family, lovers, anniversaries and weddings.
Bay arce is a seafood restaurant located in the Kanazawa Port Cruise Terminal Building. Not only customers anchored at Kanazawa Port but also Japanese tourists can enjoy it. The sea side is covered with glass on one side, so you can get a beautiful view of the sea. For visitors It is a step floor format from the sea side so that it can be seen from any audience seat. Up to the height of one copy so that it can be used by people in wheelchairs You can climb on the slope floor. The sofa seats on the sea side, the round table seats, and the step floor seats are designed so that you can enjoy it even if you come with various people.
