Silicon is a semi automatic precise infusion solution dosing system, by simple mechanical timer and flow rate valve to improve medical negligence by staff control of flow rate and time of drip medicine, It does not require electricity to replace expensive electronic automatic detection devices, helping resources deprived areas.

After completing the dosing, the internal structure of the upper drug timer and the lower timing flow rate valve will drive the aperture flow rate valve to switch to the physiological saline mode, open the physiological saline hole, and continue to inject into the patient body to prevent the medical staff from being busy time negligence caused accidents.
This is the third generation design. Each generation of design is more in line with the process sequence, ergonomics, and long term cooperation with the medical team for testing. In order to solve the timing problem, we challenged different structures and methods of calculating the flow rate, and needed to confirm that the drug was completely injected without harming the patient, so this is a difficult challenge.
Silicon development has made great efforts together with medical staff. In a tight year, we realized that this is a daunting challenge and helped medical staff to reduce their hardship.
I.Close the water inlet hole. II.Put the medicine bottle in place. III.Adjust the flow rate valve aperture. IV.Adjust the flow rate valve timer. V.Adjust the medicament timer. VI.Attach a special identification label. Dosing method: I.Silicone puncture dosing II.Automatic dosing stand dosing:By pressing the button of the dosing stand, the control structure can fix the medicine bottle in place. The dosing stand contains a needle that can automatically puncture the medicine bottle to achieve automatic dosing.
In fact, we interviewed nurses and trainee nurses who are used every day, and learned about the existing intravenous infusion procedures. Therefore, the design and research of the drug timer structure and the timing flow rate valve structure improve the accuracy of intravenous drug injection and make the work of medical staff more convenient and accurate.
Through interviews with medical staff, it was found that some medicines need to be injected for about 30 to 60 minutes and the medical staff must mentally calculate the drip flow rate and monitor the drip status back and forth. Not only does it make the medical staff feel stressed, but in the busy peak hours, it is easy for them to forget about patients medical treatment, causing accidents. Each year, the health care industry creates billions of pounds of waste on average, with the prevalence of disposable medical materials causing a rapid depletion of health care resources and a lot of environmental pollution.
