This project is a 606-square-foot apartment located in the Cypress Garden, Homantin, Hong Kong. The design of this house is based on natural wood. It shows the client's pace of life towards nature and the city through plenty of light and modern Japanese elements. We provide a warm home for MIFFY and have raised the level of the platform on the living and dining room, adding a layer to the busy urban life. Hurry up to slow down and enjoy life! Many homeowners love the warmth and coziness that wood offers, but having too much wood can make an apartment look old and dull. By using various shades of brown with other earth tones and mixing different textures, We turned tiny space into a comfy and resort-like living space for a coupe.

This Project used most of the walnut wood so as to show all natural feelings. And we put some contrast on the ceiling and floor with oak wood with some concrete elements.
Connection with all materials and the layout is the most challenging for us. Wooden Ceiling, Cabinets, and Wooden Floor Board how to connect with warm feelings and show natural between the sunlight.
The project started in February 2020 and finished in July 2020.
The Walnut Apartment. Many homeowners love the warmth and cosiness that wood offers, but having too much wood can make an apartment look old and dull. By using various shades of brown with other earth tones and mixing different textures, We turned a 606-sq. ft. space into a comfy and resort-like living space for a family of five.
We think the warm living spaces should have the most natural elements so that we try to use many wood materials and some lines to connect holes flat. Wooden materials with concrete easy to show everyone how natural and this is the main point to think about on this project. At MIFFY, we try to build a house for her and let her be happy to live with our clients.
squeezed into the far end of the apartment, closer to the middle, creating a semi-open space, which flows into the living area but is separated from the entrance corridor by a floor-to-ceiling cabinet that can be opened from both sides – doing away with the frustration of trying to access something deep in a unit. MIFFY lighting is the most eye-catching until everyone enters from the main door. It can let us relax and remember our childhood after being busy working.
