As it is usually in the fog like living in the clouds, inspired by it's nature state, this design is based on thoughtful selection of rich and elegant cool-toned colors and shades to create a noble and stable atmosphere. The dark-toned space as the main theme, and the ingenious mix and match of different textures further stimulates the harmony of Zen. Living in this peaceful home is like meditating in the mountain that brings people stillness and relaxation in the midst of obstacles in life.

The penthouse apartment is situated on level 32 overlooking Taipei city. The custom floor plan has a well thought out approach that encompasses daily living for one individual or an entire family, whilst allowing for the flexibility to entertain an intimate gathering or transformed for a large soiree. The earth-toned space is a primary theme throughout, with subtle changes to depth and the natural texture of stone, wood and metal stack the thickness of the field, which form a natural and vivid modern scenery. The warm grey-tone furniture and lighting fixtures gives a timeless and contemporary look and feel.

Rose gold titanium ion coated stainless steel frame mounting glass were selected for partition material in study and several sliding doors to create luxurious look and uniqueness in the space. Smart home lighting and control system was adopted for better connectivity and enhanced living experience.
As it was a roughcast apartment ,the most challenging aspect of this project was initial space planning and fundamental works. The project scope including joinery detailing, carpentry, coordinating electrical and mechanical services for lighting and ventilation outlets, air conditioning, painting, a new kitchen and bathroom appliances installations, furniture selection and soft furnishings throughout.
The project started in February and finished in July, 2021 in New Taipei City, Taiwan .
The public area is an open space including the living room, open-plan island kitchen and dining area. The Living room has large windows overlooking a vast and striking cityscape of Taipei. Entering the private area - the large master bedroom suite is situated at the rear of the apartment, with a glass door opening into a private and luxurious bathroom. There are two additional bedrooms with ensuite adjacent to the master bedroom. Every bedroom has large windows overlooking the city and providing ample nature light.
There were many challenging aspects on both the design and interior construction. The consultant team cooperated successfully with the builders and craftsmen to achieve the aesthetics from the original concept while maintaining practical functionality.

The location is often surrounded by fog, a dream-like state like living in the clouds. Inspired by this nature phenomenon, this design is takes inspiration from the rich and elegant earth tones, creating a noble and stable atmosphere. A thoughtful selection of colors and shades creates a unique spatial tension. The ingenious mix and match of different textures further stimulates the harmony of Zen. Living in this peaceful home is like meditating in the mountain that brings people stillness and relaxation in the midst of the obstacles in life.
