The design light spot is to retain the Cantonese elements like Lingnan stone, kapok, oolong tea and Guangdong embroidery with innovative modern art. China Chic is a hometown dedicated to every city, a place to reproduce the memory of hometown ,a gift to those who have enthusiasm for Guangzhou's urban culture.

Design Challenge
How do we define and lead the future way of life belonging to the new city with design?Guangzhou is a highly complex organism. With the passage of years, it is constantly changing and metabolizing itself. Various material and non-material elements with cultural significance in the urban area carry the historical and cultural context and spirit of a city in the form of space. In order to interpret"national trend", whether"deconstructing" tradition or "inheriting"innovation, it will move towards to "sense of future". Through the multi-dimensional understanding of Guangzhou city, the design light spot is to retain the Lingnan stone, kapok, oolong tea and Guangdong embroidery with Cantonese rhyme with innovative modern art.
Project Duration
The project is located in Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, China. It takes about six months to finish the construction.
Operation Flow
The sales center is designed for helping customers to know better and deeper about the newly constructed buildings and houses. They will see the overall construction plan of the buildings here and can get in touch with sales managers if they have any questions and can make the purchase of houses here.
Inspiration
While continuing the cultural life of the original guangzhou city, we also noticed that compared with the past, contemporary people have more diversified use needs for space. therefore, we implanted the new meaning and functions given by space, so that culture can better play its role as a magnet, enhance the vitality of the site, form highly creative visual expression and sensory experience, and link the urban mark of new art presentation and geographical culture.
Project Overview
Guangzhou Gemdale China Chic Sales Center has been a Silver winner in the Interior Space and Exhibition Design award category in the year 2021 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition. The Silver A' Design Award celebrates top-tier designs that embody excellence and innovation. This award acknowledges creations that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also highly functional, reflecting the designer's deep understanding and skill. Silver A' Design Award recipients are recognized for their contribution to raising industry standards and advancing the practice of design. Their work often incorporates original innovations and elicits a strong emotional response, making a notable impact on the improvement of everyday life.
