This is the design of a desk. The unique structure of the desk has more characteristics. The structure of the overall design adopts Chinese tenon and mortise structure. In the design process, the inspiration of wooden structure of Chinese ancient architecture is considered.

The overall design adopts the combination of CNC and manual grinding, and the material is made of black walnut.
In the design process, how to grasp the simplicity of the desk and the reasonable stability of the structure. The whole design does not need to add any hardware, which is challenging
The project was designed in Shenyang, China, from September 2021 to March 2022, and was exhibited in SYID art furniture exhibition
Users can design and work on the desktop, and can also receive and communicate with guests
At the beginning of the design, an in-depth study was conducted on Chinese ancient wooden buildings. From the stability of the structure and design aesthetics, this paper makes an in-depth analysis and design deliberation.
The inspiration comes from the structure of ancient wooden buildings in China. Ancient Chinese buildings are used to use wooden frames as the load-bearing structure of houses. The unique structural beauty makes this furniture more Oriental charm.
Rhythm Desk has been a Bronze winner in the Furniture Design award category in the year 2021 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition.
