Work Desk for SYID DESIGN
Tai Chi table is furniture designed for office people, especially designers. Some tool pens are usually placed on the desktop, and tools can be placed on the edge of the desktop. The design is inspired by Chinese Taiji. The overall design is more in line with ergonomics, making the user more comfortable in the use process. The three edges of this table are designed with upturned edges to prevent the brush tools from falling to the ground.

Unique Properties
Some designers will use a lot of brushes for creation in the office. The three edges of this table are designed with upturned edges to prevent the brush tools from falling to the ground. The front is a soft corner cutting design, which will be more comfortable in use. The overall shape of the table is more in line with the characteristics of the Oriental curved surface

Production Technology
Rhinoceros is selected for modeling and rendered as keyshot. The metal part of this furniture is made by CNC process, and the wood is processed by beech. The real process difficulty lies in the curved part of the table, which needs to be made by machine and hand

Research
Inspired by Chinese Tai Chi, Tai Chi stresses the use of softness to overcome hardness. The design feature of this table is the folding of the inside and outside, and the lifting of the edge, which can prevent some office items from falling, especially some brushes and other tools. This is a mild office furniture design

Inspired by Chinese Tai Chi, Tai Chi stresses Yin and Yang. Yin and yang are a balance. This furniture combines the above design language from the design of form and structure

Tai Chi Work Desk has been a Iron winner in the Furniture Design award category in the year 2021 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition.
