Restaurant for N5 Interior Design
Aesthetics is more than just a flashy design. The design team boldly uses plain materials to create a unique atmosphere that allows beauty to fill every corner even without much color. It is the philosophy of the design team to maintain a continuous passion for aesthetics, to be close to the clients' ideas, to consider the feelings of those who experience them, and to create a dialogue between space and design to create a qualitative environment.

Selected cement with a rough texture and rustic gray tones conveyed the natural charm to create irregular lines on site. Adopted a large amount of cement and rusted iron as the main materials and used light gray and dark red to create a new look for the space. A cement block is smashed on the red brick wall, spreading irregular lines and highlighting the logo light of the home-plate design on the wall. As for the visualization of the design, to reveal the mottled and vague feeling, the design team created a flaky texture in the concrete part. The scaling areas are shimmering and inspire the diners' desire to enter the restaurant.
Morocco, hot pot, cement, baseball, ruins.
The established image of a high-quality hot pot restaurant may be composed of Japanese, wood, and light tone. However, the clients wanted a space that breaks stereotypes, and the design team responded to the clients requirements with a bold and innovative design. Even though the space has a strong character, the details are still exquisite. Whether the tables and chairs incorporate elements of the chariot and the restaurant's name or the design that echoes the clients' favorite baseball, the design team has struck the perfect balance between boldness and refinement.
The original base is a dark-colored tin house, so it can be said that it has nothing. Considering that the fusion of iron and cement would cause the material to crack and crumble, the team started the transformation from the foundation. The design team first used H-shaped steel bars to support the structure and boldly splashed undried cement on the exterior walls. The gravity and cement created a natural flow of uneven and convex patterns, reinforcing the rugged Moroccan style and making the storefront stand out from other designs.
The project started in November 2021 in Taoyuan and finished in January 2022 in Taoyuan.
For diners, this place is not only a place to enjoy delicious food but also a great place to take photos. Expect the peeling exterior, the interior also has places for couples to take pictures. For example, the electrocardiogram wall at the entrance, the customized table and chairs with a love bulb, and the concrete walls in various parts of the space can all be used as photo spots. With the humor phrases on the wall, diners can truly interact with the design.
As for the building materials, the team used concrete, bricks, iron, and other materials, and the final work is a war-like look with irregular lines. Like a restaurant reborn in ruins, the obscure light shines on the drab concrete walls, and the rusted H-shaped steel bars provide a sense of vicissitude and fortitude to the rustic gray tones. The signboard logo light is also unusually placed in a corner so that diners can see the light at the corner and meet the food there. Extending the exterior, the interior also has a mysterious and primitive atmosphere, with chariot-like tables and chairs, a vandalized bar, and a non-linear food hatch.
The clients have two requirements in design style, one is mysterious and the other is desolate. The design team found inspiration from these young people who do not like to be limited by the rules and love baseball and used elements such as concrete and rusted iron to create an exotic atmosphere like Morocco. The project also echoes the name of the restaurant and baseball to create a brand-new look.
