The object series is a high-end speaker, and the Vicuna technology, which has been producing string instruments for more than 100 years in France, is applied with the Vicuna technology to process reflective sounds. In addition, unlike commercially available speakers, circular soundboxes can be designed separately to convey the original sound to the listener without interfering with each other's sounds. And the shape of the pipes together has the appearance of blooming like a flower.

The object series is a high-end speaker with a variety of technologies. The Vicuna technology developed by the Garell family, which has been producing string instruments for more than 100 years in France, has been applied to the object series to will give users a clearer and grander sound. Production Technology
Vicuna Technology: Vicuna wool, called the fiber of God, delicately disperses the density of sound with the rich air between the thin fibers. Founder Louis Garrell successfully placed a Vicuna Wool behind the strings of the instrument to release ultra-high and ultra-low notes and deliver the original sound in abundance. The object series applies this technology as it is, placing Vicuna wool where the sound is reflected, realizing the original sound with little distortion.
Design Challenge
Many design modifications have been made to make the structure of multiple pipes look more aesthetic. It also went through several trials and errors to apply Vicuna technology.
Project Duration
The project started in France in February 2022 and will be exhibited in SIGNIEL Busan, Korea in June 2023.
Operation Flow
The object series is equipped with Bluetooth 5.0, so high-quality sound sources can be transmitted without compressing them, and Wi-Fi technology is included, so you can play music with various applications. It is also equipped with an LAN line and a usb port, so it can work with computers, laptops, and televisions.
Research
The design began based on saving two soundboxes each on Twitter and Mid, and went through the process of finding the most optimized size and proportion both functionally and aesthetically. The audio speaker was produced by sharing tasks such as sketch process, material research, woodwork production, sound structure design, and exterior design.
Inspiration
The inspiration of the design is that it shows the structure itself, where multiple pipes are gathered for the original sound transmission. To make a good sound, the speaker should have fewer irregularly reflective corners. So, the soundbox is pipe shaped is the most ideal structure. Also, the object series is designed to keep each soundbox intact, minimizing sound distortion.
