Visual Identity for Yunnan Tech & Besiness University
The design compares hotel visitors to rangers. In fantasy stories, practitioners are basically elves. The visual system uses the Ranger Mask as the creative element to extend a series of Ranger equipment symbols, the purpose of which is to create derivatives from these symbols to allow visitors to interact so that every traveler can experience the Ranger. Different hotels have different positioning groups, Ranger Hotel is mainly aimed at young tourists, through simple design to create a light luxury fashion social hotel.

Design Challenge
The most challenging part of the design was how to use symbols to give visitors from both the East and the West a common understanding of the Ranger.
Project Duration
The project started in May 2022 in Kunming and finished in July 2022 in Kunming
Operation Flow
The logo of the Ranger Hotel is printed using laser foil stamping technology, and the logo reflects the unpredictable luster from different angles, making it more mysterious.
Research
Ranger Hotel is an international hotel, and the difficulty of the project is that there are many differences between the Chinese "Xia" and the Western "Xia", or even completely different. As a Chinese designer, how to recognize and understand the essence of Western "chivalry" in this project is particularly important. Through reading a large number of literature and books, as well as searching for clues of "Xia" from a large number of movies, and expressing it through symbolic, visual, and intuitive forms, and finally using the method of character equipment deconstruction to achieve this visual system.

Project Overview
Ranger Visual Identity has been a Iron winner in the Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design award category in the year 2022 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition. The Iron A' Design Award is awarded to good designs that meet the rigorous professional and industrial standards set by the A' Design Awards. This recognition is reserved for works that demonstrate a solid understanding of design principles and show creativity within their execution.
